For centuries the dark halls of Shadowkeep stood uninhabited. Towering high above the nearby village, its cold stone walls were overgrown with vegetation as if nature, herself, were reaching out to reclaim what was once hers. Many rumours abounded of how the great fort came to be so desolate. So sinister were the tales that it kept even the most adventurous from stepping near its twisted gate. But then war came to Hidden Dale. Forced to flee from the onslaught of the Grill, the only formidable haven to be found was the foreboding halls of Shadowkeep. After years of emptiness, the ancient citadel had life within it again. Unless . . . the rumours were true.
